Charming split level, open plan gite, converted from an old stone barn attached to the family fermette set amongst fields, hedgerows and trees. Wood burning stove heating.Located on a peaceful rural lane close to the local village. Wonderful forest walks in close proximity. All mod cons and plenty of car parking space. Light and airy. There are numerous places of interest in the area serving a wide variety of tastes, as well as plenty of routes to explore for ramblers, walkers and cyclists.

My Cute Little House

Set in the heart of Verteuil a petite citie de caractere in the Charente we welcome you to Ma jolie petite maison, a one double bedroomed gite that sleeps 4. The building is over 200 years old and has been completely refurbished in 2024. With exposed stone walls and original fireplaces, lit by vintage French chandeliers and tasteful wall lights, the gite is both cosy and comfortable. During your stay you will have exclusive use of the heated swimming pool and a large Moroccan style barn.

Enjoy a pleasant and bright 45 m2 accommodation, well-centred and quiet in Ruffec. It is a 5-minute walk from all amenities, the market covered twice a week, bars and restaurants, supermarkets, the "Le Lien" stream with its washhouse and mill, the cinema, etc. In harmony with nature... Kayaks ..canoes... Close to Ruffec are located Nanteuil in the valley and Verteuil sur Charente, two very beautiful picturesque villages, as well as Pressac... very beautiful floating village!
