The property is less than half a mile from excellent shopping and restaurants, approximately five miles from Baton Rouge, and about 20 miles from Hammond. Minutes from the interstate, The Barn is tucked away from life's hectic pace and is a great place to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. This new addition combines modern amenities and rustic charm. As you pull on to our road The Barn is to the left of our home. Feel free to roam around where we raise rabbits, ducks, and chickens. We often see deer wandering behind the pond. Relax in the cozy indoors, soak up fresh air on the porch, or build a fire in the firepit. Come, be our guest!

This is a guest suite attached to our home. It is located in a peaceful neighborhood. It’s only a 10 min walk to Baton Rouge Main Public Library and Botanical Gardens. This space is perfect for a maximum of 4 people as it is furnished with a queen size bed and a sofa bed. This Airbnb has a full size refrigerator, a kitchenette that has a microwave, an air fryer, crockpot, coffee maker (NOT keurig), toaster and waffle maker, blender and rice cooker. Parking is available on driveway.

Please read detailed description of property before booking. Set in a 22 acre parcel on the Natalbany River 6.5 miles from downtown Hammond. Enjoy nature with a walk along the trail from house to river. This building has been built with mostly reclaimed, reused and upcycled materials. The rustic interior walls are clad in huge boards milled on the property after Katrina damage. Note the unusual shower with handmade tiles. There are other unique structures on property.
