Welcome to the Gite de La Roche. Come and relax in this green paradise where the only sounds are the music of running water and birdsong. Our gite is less than 500m from the Bort les Orgues lake on the River Dordogne. You can enjoy your stay in the middle of nature and all the activities we have to offer. Cycling, kayaks (for hire), fishing, swimming, hiking/walking (there are more than 50km of walking routes departing from the gite.) Close to La Bourboule, Le Sancy and the chain of volcanoes.

To explore the area we offer FREE use of mountain bikes and a kayak*, there is direct access to the river and a 12km cycle path. A self-catering gite of great comfort for 4-6 people, with indoor pool, is nestled behind timber in a former enamel mill on an island in Vienna. The cottage, located on the water, in the old porcelain pasta dryers of the Daumail mill dating back to the 13th century, is secluded and without terracedness. It is accessed on foot via a vast covered terrace and footbridge. Peaceful accommodation offers a relaxing stay for the whole family.
