This relaxed space stands in a courtyard off the top of Frenchgate, one of the town's best-known ancient cobbled streets. It's a peaceful spot only a few minutes' walk from the market square with its shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs. Free parking (one car). We provide you with the basics to get you started (coffee, tea, milk, bread, butter etc). Towels, shampoo and bedding also provided.

A lockable shed is available for cycles and there is space for cars and m'bikes to be parked off road. One medium/2 small dogs welcome, contact host. Situated between the North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales National Parks and close to the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty there is plenty to do and see in the area. Richmond, market town is close by.

Puzzle Cottage Quirky Yorkshire Dales Cottage

A delightful stone-built cottage located in the village of Harmby, close to the popular Yorkshire towns of Leyburn and Middleham in the northern part of the Yorkshire Dales. Built in the 1600s, Puzzle Cottage is the oldest property in the village and is believed to have been the falconry for Bolton Castle. An unusual layout set out over three floors, the cottage has been sympathetically styled with a cosy cottage feel which adds to the immense character and charm of this historic old cottage.

Situated in Wensleydale in the Yorkshire Dales, Cow Close Byre is a self contained guest annexe one mile from the market town of Leyburn. The comfortable bedroom has a super king bed, or an option for two singles. The shower room is ensuite to the bedroom. There is a double sofa bed in the living area which also has a well equipped kitchen: fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, oven and hob. Parking adjacent to the property. Wensley has a village pub and church and is a couple of miles from Leyburn which has several pubs, tea rooms, supermarkets, florists and lots more. You can walk along the River Ure up to Redmire and Aysgarth Falls, also walks to Leyburn and beyond.
