The Westerkwartier is characterized by the beautiful scenic landscape. The provinces of Drenthe and Friesland are just around the corner. Half an hour away is the Lauwersmeer area and the boat to Schiermonnikoog. We do not serve breakfast as standard On the morning after arrival, breakfast is free of charge on the basis of up to 2 people. The days after that you can order breakfast for €20 p.p.

Welcome to Klein Nienoord, staying in a beautiful farmhouse from 1905 close to Groningen. The house has its own entrance and garden and is fully equipped. The luxurious sauna is a nice place to relax and if you want something more active you can use the gym. Within walking distance is the entrance to the Nienoord estate where you can take a beautiful walk. We have bicycles for rent to explore the area. Good to know: we do not provide breakfast. You do have your own kitchen with an oven.

Next to our monumental farm on the yard, this small accommodation is easy and not too expensive to stay in. Sanitary facilities and a common area are located in the farmhouse. The estate borders the Nienoord estate. Here you can hike and bike. The village is within 2 minutes walking distance. A village where you can shop deliciously and have a choice of several restaurants in the evening. The city of Groningen is 15 minutes away by car/bike 1 hour and 20 minutes by public transport.

Blokhut het Lindehuys in Leek

Our Lindehuys is built entirely of wood and is located in our spacious green garden. You have complete privacy in this cabin. There is a shower and a toilet. There are also a number of basic facilities such as a kettle, a Senseo, a microwave and a fridge. The center of Leek and also the estate Nienoord with castle and carriage museum is within walking distance . You can easily reach Groningen by bus, you can reach Groningen in 20 minutes by car.

The studio is part of a multi-generational home that has been realized in a former healthcare institution. Cottage Jasmijn has an extensive kitchen with, among other things, a large stove, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, a luxurious bathroom with walk-in shower, separate bedroom with a double bed and a cozy living room with television and cozy pellet stove. Everything is on the ground floor in the cottage. In front of the cottage, you have a cozy south-facing terrace with garden.
