Gamlestova at Juv

Juv is much more than just a house and a bed! Gamlestova was the original farmhouse and has the same amazing views as Juvsøyna on Juv and Gamletunet on Juv. From the canopy bed in the living room you can wake up to the sunrise and if you are lucky follow a tourist boat on its way to Olden with your eyes. In the evening you can fire up the stove, feel the good heat, read a good book and fall asleep to the light of the flames and the sound of the wood stove nearby. NB! Outdoor hot tub and car charger are not included in the rental price.

The old house at Solnes Farm

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents received the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from around 1950. We live in the other part of the house. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join in the care on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life as we are in full employment and have four small children.

There are many hiking opportunities; Storehesten, Lisjehesten, Dagsturhytta Skaraly, hunting opportunities, swimming in the fjord or in mountain lakes. Imagine yourself here. In the heart of Norway’s dramatic fjord landscape lies this traditional Norwegian sea house, transformed into a dream vacation retreat. Spacious apartment situated central in beautiful Flåm. About 500 meters down to the village center where you find restaurants, shops, grocery store, Ægir brewery and pub, Fjordsafari, Fjord Sauna and Flåm railway. The apartment is perfect for couples or families. We have 3 separate bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a kingsize bed (180x200 cm), bedroom 2 has two single beds, and bedroom 3 has one single bed. If you are looking for a central but quiet apartment with a stunning view, this is the place to be.

Solbakken Microhouse

The micro house is located in peaceful and scenic surroundings in Solbakken farmyard on Os. In front of the house is Gallery Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden that is always open to the public. Around the house goats graze, and you have a view of some free-range chickens, and some alpacas on the other side of the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is lovely to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the peace. There are also great hiking trails nearby.

Cabin near the Fjord

The Eldhuset is part of a farmyard. The cottage has its own terrace with a roof and its own parking. Livingroom and modern kitchen in the same room, two bedrooms and a new bathroom with washing machine. The bedrooms have double beds (150x200) and a built-in bed (150 x 200). The farm is located near the ferry terminal, Lavik, along the E39. The cabin is a great starting point for kayaking on the fjord, forest walks or easy mountain hikes. We have a motorboat, SUP, kayak and sauna for rent.

We are now back online after a maintenance-related outage. Spectacular views from Birdbox, perched atop Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When the wind blows over the sea, you can see white sea spray rising up over the islets and skerries all the way west to Løno. You can get here by boat or kayak. Birdbox Lotsbergskaara

Birdbox Lotsbergskaara is located at Lote, in Western Norway, at an elevation of 270 metres above sea level. With one of Norway’s most breathtaking views of fjords and mountains, you’ll experience a true sense of quiet luxury and a calm, relaxing stay. While you relax in the comfortable cabin, you might be lucky enough to spot deer grazing and eagles soaring just outside the window. The surrounding area offers plenty to do, surrounded by the landscapes Western Norway is known for.

Cottage of about 60 square meters with 2 bedrooms. Own kitchen with crockery. The cottage is in a peaceful area with 3 other cabins. The chalet is in a private road and the area is quiet and peaceful. There is barbecue at the cabin for fine evenings with sunset in the fjord. There is a fireplace in the living room and it comes with firewood that can be used if it gets cold. There is also electric heating in every room. Bed linen and cleaning are included in the price.

The cabin is one of 4 self catering, 3 bedroom cabins/rorbuer beautifully situated on the waters edge a 5 min walk from the Flåm station/harbour. Best location in Flåm with panoramic views. The use of a boat with a small outboard is included in the price, unfortunately not in winter. Wifi, satellite TV, Bluetooth speaker, wood burner, dishwasher, clothes washing machine, microwave plus fully equipped kitchen. Free private parking. Australian/Norwegian hosts.
