With a base in Austnesfjorden you have access to all the great things Lofoten has to offer of spectacular nature experiences and opportunities for activities, summer and winter. The location also gives you proximity to Vesterålen, so the place is a great starting point to discover both Lofoten and Vesterålen, within 1-2 hours by car.

The recreational activities are as diverse as the landscape itself. In February and March, the skrei comes to Lofoten, and provides a fantastic fishing. Popular place for mountain hiking with and without skis. By driving only a few hours you can reach other amazing mountains, beaches and beautiful towns in Lofoten and Vesterålen. It takes 20 min to drive to Svolvær, 15 min to Svolvær airport.
