Log cabin built in 2005 in Birkenåsen 700 m above sea level, approx. 12 min. from Rena. Located in a cul-de-sac next to a slalom slope and a short distance to prepared ski slopes. Excellent starting point for walking and cycling trips. Sorknes golf with 18-hole golf course 10 minutes away. Room layout: 1st floor: Living room, kitchen, hall, bathroom with shower and sauna, bathroom with washing machine, bedroom with 3 beds, bedroom with large double bed. Exterior storage room with freezer 2nd floor: Attic room with TV, bedroom with double bed, 2 bedrooms.

To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 mins. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. We offer sleigh rides and ski instruction on cross-country skiing in the winter, please contact us if you are interested.

The cabin has a good standard with a new well-equipped kitchen and cozy bathroom. Laundry room and extra toilet in the basement. Great outdoor areas with fire pits.

Here you can relax and wake up to a delicious breakfast basket with freshly baked croissants. Suitable for 2 persons. Skogen is one of 3 stone cabins on the farm. The other two are Røysa and Åkeren. Koselig gjestehus med 2 soverom med dobbeltsenger. Man må gå igjennom første soverom for å komme til det andre. Passer derfor best til familier eller gode venner, samt det er mulig å re opp ei ekstra barneseng på "biblioteket". Det er ca 10 minutters gangavstand ned til sentrum med jernbanestasjon og Høgskolen og 3 km opp til Birkebeinerstarten, samt ca 3 km til Rena leir. Det finnes også ett lysthus/drivhus på eiendommen som kan benyttes til å inta morgenkaffen eller slappe av med en god bok

As you can see the pichtures show you two cabins, built together. The new cabin have two bedrooms, bath and a smal kitchen. Separate toilet. The old cabin has tow rooms one a bedroom , the other a living rom. The furniture is old in this rom , and has some old paintings as well. There are a stove to make it warm, nice and cosy. Firewood for free. There are plenty of space to sit outside, in wintertime this is on the starting place for Birken skirace. 3km from Rena.

Huset har 5 soverom og passer godt for familier, rolige vennegrupper og mindre arbeidsgrupper, opptil 8 gjester. Stor hage, to terrasser, grill, peis, kunst, persiske tepper og Maihaugbekken gir huset særpreg. I bokhyllene finnes en stor samling bøker om Lillehammers lokalhistorie, og på veggene henger gamle bilder fra byen. Parkering for opptil 3 biler.
