The houses at the park are both permanently inhabited and rented for vacation. You can go hiking, cycling and mountain biking in the area to your heart's content. Cities such as Assen, Leeuwarden and Groningen are easily accessible. The house is complete and stylishly furnished and invites you to relax with a book by the fireplace.

On colder days you can enjoy the wood stove. or take a lovely bath in the spacious bathroom. The house is located on the edge of the forest of the Drents-Friese Wold National Park, and within walking distance of the natural bathing water of the Canadameer. In this area you can enjoy walking and cycling, and there is plenty of space for sporting activities.

'De Kraanvogel' guest house The cosy log cabin is located on the grounds of a farmhouse and has its own driveway. Sheltered under a wooden embankment, you can look out towards the Fochtelooërveen and the beautiful garden. During the summer, the view may be obstructed by the growth of maize or other crops. The log cabin has a bedroom, a bathroom and a living room and can be heated with a wood-burning stove. You can make your own cup of coffee or tea in the log cabin.
