The house is located on the edge of the forest of the Drents-Friese Wold National Park, and within walking distance of the natural bathing water of the Canadameer. In this area you can enjoy walking and cycling, and there is plenty of space for sporting activities.

Sheltered under a wooden embankment, you can look out towards the Fochtelooërveen and the beautiful garden. During the summer, the view may be obstructed by the growth of maize or other crops.
