Thanks to it’s large windows, you can watch the northern lights while having dinner or from the warmth of your bed.

There is a beautiful view from the cabin towards the mountain range Fljótshlíð and the Tindfjallajökull glacier. The cabin is the perfect place to stay if you visit South Iceland. The cabin has space for four people, with one bedroom with a double bed and one bunk bed with two beds in the living space. Our cozy cabin is located in a cove by a lava field and a small creek. It is 44m2 groundfloor and was built in 1962 and I renovated it in 2015. It is located on our farm Fossar , 15km away from village Kirkjubæjarklaustur by road 204.
