Bauchops Hill Station is a 2100ha working farm where our family have lived for three generations. Nestled in the Mackenzie basin, our cottage will allow you to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of country farm life whilst surrounded by stunning views of the mountains. There is no cell phone coverage, so turn off and unwind -we do have WiFi! Great views into Mt Dobson ski field, 25 minutes to Tekapo & Fairlie. By day, explore Tekapo or Mt Cook then soak in a private wood-fired hot tub, under the dazzling stars in a dark sky reserve! It’s 50-minutes to Mt Cook or Tekapo & 2.5hrs from Queenstown.

A perfect getaway for couples or a solo retreat, this warm and cosy modern cottage is set on a peaceful, fully fenced rear section across from the lakefront.  Wander out to the lakefront walking track for panoramic views of Lake Tekapo and the surrounding mountains. Walk just a few minutes more to reach the Church of the Good Shepherd and sheepdog memorial, then over the Tekapo footbridge (perfect location for photos!) to the village centre eateries & shops.

We are close to town 5 min drive to shops restaurants and the town center or a nice 20 min walk. Mt Cook is only 50 min drive away with hiking tracks hooker valley and Tasman all just up the road . Lake Pukaki is only 15 min drive away. Tekapo is 40 mins drive. Cyclists we have space in the garage to lock your bikes away. .

Everyone is welcome here at Forest Bliss Cottage located 300m up on the Hunters Hills. We have long views east to , the sea at St Andrews to Timaru, to the Port Hills, Four Peaks, Fox Peak . Forest Bliss is a sustainable exotic forest surrounded by pasture lands. The Brown House

The Brown House was tragically lost in 2020 in New Zealand’s worst fire disaster that devastated the village Award winning architect Lisa Webb who designed the first Brown House was enlisted to design the rebuild. The results are just as stunning This four-bedroom retreat accommodates up to ten guests. Each bedroom offers breathtaking views. The house includes two living areas a dedicated office space, two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen.
