The old village school

The old school/schoolmaster's house is on the edge of a tiny village where there's no shop, no café, so you’ll need a car. It's very rural here, with views across the gently undulating countryside from the school. Two small towns with supermarkets - La Machine and Cercy-la-Tour, are both about 11 kilometres away. Decize, a much larger town on the Loire, is about 18 km away. There are two double bedrooms, and another small one with a triple-layer bunk bed suitable for children.

Small cozy nest, ideal for a quiet, relaxing and rejuvenating stay! Bicycles, petanque, BBQ, hammocks are at your disposal to enhance your stay.

Hidden between maples and bamboos, the chestnut cottage is located right on the edge of a 700 m2 body of water. Private entrance, free adjoining parking, not overlooked by the rest of the estate which consists of 30,000 m2 of a small private stable, a small cottage and our home. Ideally located 5 minutes from Nevers and surrounded by 1500 ha of Amognes state forest directly accessible on foot. Calm and nature predominate in this preserved place out of time.

A wonderful stay at Château de Paraize: peace, space, nature. Staying in the French countryside with beautiful views of the horses in the fields. The river Allier is within walking distance, enjoy beautiful nature, old towns, wine estates, markets with good food or flea markets. Or bbq with us at Paraize itself, participate in a wine tasting in the old wine cellar by candlelight, or just enjoy the campfire.

Come and relax in a nice 70 m2 bright apartment, 2 bedrooms, shower room, large living room with open kitchen and balcony on the edge of the Nivernais Canal and close to the Morvan. Close to shops, water sports stadium, swimming pool, mini-golf, cinema and canoe kayak club. Access to the accommodation will be from the canal side and not from the main street.
