We have renovated a good old Japanese house and prepared a space where you can stay comfortably while retaining the Japanese style. The spacious house is perfect for family trips, trips with friends, and trips with your significant other. The surrounding area is home to Uchimoku Onsen, where you can enjoy day trips and food tours, and it is also has good access to Mt. Aso and Mt. Daikanzan, making it an ideal base for sightseeing in Aso. Please enjoy a heartwarming Japanese house stay while enjoying the hot springs, nature, and food unique to Aso at Asoya. This is a house with a view of the Aso-gozan mountain range and countryside through the wooden terrace in the living room. The 2 Japanese-style bedrooms have 2 semi-double beds and futons. The large L-shaped kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, so you can enjoy cooking. There is also a covered outdoor area, so you can park your car or motorcycle. Please feel free to wash your car. The room also has a view that changes depending on the season. You can enjoy a BBQ in the yard. We also rent BBQ sets (for a fee). It is a quiet place surrounded by nature. Great for dusk. Also great for workcations. There are many surfing points and fishing points nearby. * It takes more than 20 minutes on foot from the station and bus stop, so please come by rental car, etc. Parking is available for one vehicle. * There are no restaurants or supermarkets nearby, so please eat and shop in advance.

The house was built in 2005 and has 3 bedrooms but the first floor has been partially renovated in October 2024. There is an outside deck that has panoramic views over famed surfing mecca of Kanegahama beach. Bedding is one queen, one double and two single beds. There is also a futon mattress that can be used if needed (it is not as comfortable as the beds!). As this house is in a residential area, we ask all guests to refrain from making loud noise/music outside, especially after dark.
