We recommend using a private vehicle to enjoy a relaxing vacation. The APPI Snow Mountain Resort area has shops, restaurants, and convenience stores, and there is also a supermarket about 20 minutes away by car. There are also great hot spring areas such as Matsukawa Onsen, and Hachimantai Ski Resort and Shimokura Ski Resort are also nearby. It is a cool highland area at an altitude of 900 m, so you can enjoy the natural air conditioning in the summer and a comfortable stay in the warm rooms in the winter. Enjoy the barrel sauna with a wood stove (wood is available on the premises for free, but please prepare your own firewood), a drum bath, a large jacuzzi (no hot water, and it cannot be used in winter to prevent freezing), a barbecue, kayak, SUP (please prepare your own), and more. There is a marina next door to Lake Towada, so you can enjoy jet skiing, boating, etc. The house is located at an altitude of 400 meters, so we take the utmost measures, but insects come out during the warmer months.In winter, a lot of snow falls.In autumn, the leaves fall and dance in the wind. We promise you a great view.
