Porotieva - Reindeer Retreat Lakeside

Private new beach cottage on a large plot, amphitheater-like location on the shores of the very clean Lake Livojärvi, on the Lapland Riviera. Two saunas (wood-heated and electric-heated) and a hot tub. You may see reindeer right in the yard of the cottage. During the summer season (May to August), we offer two SUP boards, a boat and fishing gear. During the winter season, we offer a few snowshoes, skis and poles for skiing, as well as fishing equipment for ice fishing. The property has a hill and stairs.

Nearby: e.g. Ruka ski resort 19 km from the cottage (about 20 min drive), Riisitunturi National Park 18 km (about 15 min drive), also Valtavaara, Konttainen, Karhunkierros nearby.

Beach cottage in Kuusamo

An atmospheric and very peaceful cottage in Kuusamo. The cottage is located on a narrow peninsula, on the shore of a sandy and clear-watered lake. The beach is also very suitable for children to swim. Good recreational opportunities in the area, skiing, snowshoeing, winter fishing and snowmobiling in winter (transfer route to the official snowmobile route). Good fishing opportunities, located in the Muojärvi-Kuusamojärvi water area, water connection to the center of Kuusamo and the eastern border.

Renovated semi-detached house (2br, 67sqm) in a quiet location, 5 km from Ruka. 500 m to the cross-country skiing track, 100 m to the snowmobile trail, and 4 km to the grocery store. The apartment is great for families or a group of friends. The floor plan is such that the smaller bedroom and the separate toilet are separated from the rest of the apartment by a door, so privacy is available. A nice atmosphere is created by an open fireplace, sauna, a terrace, and a forest landscape as a bonus.

The cabin is a 6 minute car ride from the nearest East Ruka ski lifts and a 12 minute car ride from Ruka village services. Ski, snowmobil and outdoor trails can be found right nearby.

You will stay safely in a separate apartment with its own entrance. Quiet location on the shore of the beautiful Ylä-Juumajärvi, about 2 km from Juuma village, 3 km from Pieni Karhunkierros, near Oulanka National Park. Nearby are wonderful nature sites: Karhunkierrokset, Riisitunturi, Ruka, Kiutaköngäs, etc. You can make day trips to nearby destinations. The beach sauna is at your disposal and we will advise you on how to heat it. WiFi available. The price includes linens and towels for three.

Nested at the tip of the private peninsula, the cabin offers complete privacy with only birds and reindeers to be seen around. Our cabin has no running water and the toilet is outside.

In winter and spring, the well-maintained ski trails and snowmobile trails around Ruka can be accessed from the cottage yard.

In summer, you can start your hike directly from the yard. There is a dock and a rowing boat on the beach.
