It is perched just above the waves with the most beautiful views across Portling Bay to the white sands of Merse Head nature reserve. The Lodge is not in a holiday park it stands alone with it's own private driveway, parking and garden. It’s so quiet, a retreat to escape and relax, by sitting watching and listening to the waves. Our cedarwood lodge has been designed and built for our family and friends to use when they visit. It is in a rural setting about 4 miles outside the market town of Cockermouth but is actually located in the Lake District National Park with stunning views over the fells, Binsey, Skiddaw, Bassenthwaite Lake and Keswick. The lodge has been designed to make the most of those idyllic views and is a retreat for anyone wanting to relax, unwind and enjoy our “world Heritage” status.
