Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, its Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". Susan and Graham host Ardarroch and live next door. Nestled in the spectacular surroundings on the outskirts of Crieff, with panoramic views and within easy walking distance of the town centre. Crieff offers many places to eat with an excellent deli and cafes providing good quality local produce. Local attractions include the oldest whiskey distillery, numerous walks and nearby Munros, and a wildlife centre at nearby Comrie. The town has a selection of lovely parks suitable for all ages.

Merlin Studio

Merlin is a perfect space for 2 on an 84 acre hillside farm. The farm offers stunning views of the Lake of Menteith and surrounding hills. Merlin is a cute space with all comforts considered: a king size bed, small sofa, kitchenette, lush decor and a walk in shower. Bathrobes, fluffy towels, tea and coffee are included. Our cosy garden cottage with bedsit, kitchen-diner & log-stove is the ideal base for exploring the Trossachs/Loch Lomond National Park, Glasgow, Stirling & Edinburgh. Located in scenic, rural Kippen, we are a short walk from shops, post office and 2 gastro-pubs: The Cross Keys and The Inn. A farm shop/cafe with a Deli counter is on the outskirts. Located an old military road, the village features historic buildings & Kippen Church with stained glass windows by Herbert Hendrie.

Mary Queen of Scot's chamber at Neidpath Castle is perhaps the most romantic place to stay in the Scottish Borders. Explore privately the whole castle and then retire to enjoy your suite rooms. The Fox Den is situated on our family farm in Stirlingshire, Scotland. Using recycled shipping containers that used to store our sheep feed during the winters we have renovated them to create a beautiful country retreat. Relax and unwind in this unique space with panoramic views of the trossachs from the roof terrace. Set amongst 30 acres of native Scottish woodland with walkways and only 1/2km from the River Forth, there’s no better place to enjoy rural Stirlingshire.

The Great Hall, Dollarbeg Castle

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.

Within the village there is small path network and two commons for evening strolls. Thornhill is perfectly located to explore Stirling, Callander, Doune and the surrounding countryside, including Blairdrummond Safari Park. The village boasts a fabulous pub/restaurant serving good food and chatty locals.
