Stableside is my uniquely situated first floor appartment full of charm and history. Originally the grooms accommodation for the historic Hartrigge House , it offers peace & quiet & an amazing homely atmosphere. The building is Grade C listed & accessed by a steep spiral staircase.Experience wildlife and dark skies from your garden or patio too. It's right on the Scottish Border, close to Kielder and Newcastleton (both five miles away), and ideal for visiting Kielder observatory, Kielder Forest, the Borders or north Northumberland. Ivy Cottage is the perfect size for 2, although it can accommodate up to 4. Ideal location, for cycling, walking, fishing and playing golf. There are dog-friendly pubs and cafes within walking distance, as well as a good selection of shops. We have an onsite games room, free for our guests to enjoy. We can accommodate 1 large or 2 small pets, however, please note, we do not have have a secure garden area. The cottage has many wonderful walks right on the doorstep for you to explore.
