Guesthouse Refshalegården

Enjoy a relaxing holiday in the countryside – in a UNESCO biosphere reserve, close to the medieval town of Stege, near the water and surrounded by nature. We are a family consisting of a Danish-Japanese couple, two dogs, two cats, sheep, running ducks and chickens. We care about organic farming and sustainability, and we love growing our own vegetables and herbs in the garden. "Farm to table" Breakfast (Japanese or Danish) can be ordered no later than 4 pm the day before. Breakfast is not included in the price and is paid on site with either MobilePay or cash.

Charming three-acre property, beautifully located on the outskirts of Skafterup and on the road to Bisserup, with a sandy beach and a cozy local harbor. An 80 m2 apartment with an open living room/kitchen and direct access to the garden. Focus on Sustainability with, among other things, recycled furniture. The house has an entrance hall, bathroom/toilet with sauna, bedroom and a large kitchen/living room with alcoves. From the living room there is access to a nice large loft. The house has air conditioning and a wood-burning stove. Annex contains room with double bed. House and annex are connected by wooden terrace and there is outdoor shower with hot water. Bedroom in the house as well as loft and alcove.

The beautiful Faxe Bay and Noret just outside the house set the scene for a wonderful place. The house was voted the winner of the program Denmark's most beautiful cottage on DR1 (2014). The well-appointed 50 m2, with up to 4 m to the ceiling, is perfect for a couple - but is also ideal for a family with 2-3 children. All year round, you can swim in the "Svenskerhullet" and Roneklint and the small fine island Maderne, which is owned by Nysø Castle. 10 km from Præstø. In addition, the landscape is created for beautiful walks and bike rides.

Idyllic farmhouse by forest and beach

Right next to the seaside resort of Bandholm is this cozy half-timbered house, which previously belonged to the Knuthenborg estate. Here you can relax with the family and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, including the nearby forest, where wild boars live. The house, built in 1776, exudes the old days in the countryside. At the same time, here are the most sought-after modern amenities (WiFi, heat pump, dishwasher and charging box for the electric car). If you need quiet days in a soulful place, then Bondehuset in Bandholm is the place.

On the first floor there is a spacious room with four single beds and a view of the sea from one end of the room. The home must be left in the same condition as upon arrival.

If you and your family need a break from the busy everyday life, Stihøj can help provide peace and quiet. We have 2 lovely rooms and a kitchen/living room with necessary kitchen utensils. We can also offer breakfast (DKK 85) and possibly a self-made packed lunch (DKK 40) to take on a trip. We are excited to welcome you to Møn.
