Stenhaga, house with lake plot, about 80 meters from our own lake. Large wooden deck with table and seating. Small sandy beach. Floating jetty with swimming ladder. The house is close to Smedstugan, our second house we rent out here on Airbnb. Fishing included. Salmon stocked. One fish is included in the rent, then SEK 100/salmon. Rowboat included. The kitchen has a folding section, which can be pulled completely to the side, large opening out to the balcony. Floor 1 - kitchen, TV room, bathroom. The house is located in a fantastic quiet and beautiful environment by the lake outside Nye where you have access to your own jetty and boat. Enjoy a boat trip and the view of the lake from the large terrace. Just a few minutes away, there's a swimming area, a café and a kiosk. The summer offers swimming, fishing or boating excursions it is winter you can enjoy the tranquility of (or on) the ice. We are located in Småland's garden where the countryside has largely retained its character that you recognize from Astrid Lindgern's stories.

Welcome to Torestorps Drängstuga - an ancient house in the heart of Småland! Here, real fairy tales, heroes, love, hard work and celebration live in the walls. The house is about 100 m2 in two levels and is located a stone's throw from a larger farm building in the middle of the countryside in the Småland forests. You can get to Kalmar and Öland in 30-60 minutes and to Nybro to shop in ten. There are duvets, a wood-burning stove, a sauna in the woods and the cat Doris will be happy to stay with you if you want company.

Villa Fridhem, the Parsonage

Välkommen till Villa Fridhem, ett hus med bevarad själ och tidstypisk charm. Här råder lugn och enkelhet, omgivet av grönska och stillhet. Den lummiga trädgården bjuder in till ro, och vedkaminen sprider värme när du sjunker ner i en mjuk fåtölj. Sovrummen ligger på övre plan och huset passar bäst för gäster utan gångsvårigheter. Naturen omger huset med vandringsstigar och gångavstånd till en genuin småländsk by. I närheten finns flera badsjöar, och goda möjligheter till både båtturer och fiske.

Our little cabin by the lake

At the homestead called Hamborg, grandfather's old cottage stands in a beautiful, secluded meadow by Lake Örken. It offers a simple but close to nature accommodation close to the lake, swimming and fishing. Here you can experience total peace and silence far from neighbours. A canoe is available to borrow and a short walk through the forest there is a nice swimming area with a small sandy beach. The cottage has a small wood-burning stove with a cooktop for simple meals, as well as a gas burner.

Welcome to Villa Blanche a charming, white, wooden house in Stenberga – Småland. The house offers all comfort you need for a pleasant stay. Enjoy a cozy evening by the wood stove. Here you have lake Saljen close by (2km) where you can swim and fish. There are several walking trails directly from the house. In the beautiful garden we have a fire pit for grill evenings. From spring we will rent out our canoe. Go skiing, visit Astrid Lindgren park, visit a moose park or go down the zippline.

Njut i detta unika, och till stora delar egenhändigt byggda hus, vid vägs ände i skogarna runt Virserum. Naturen inbjuder till långa promenader med fantastiska vyer och fina stigar. Huset inbjuder till tysta och vilsamma stunder eller till gemensam matlagning vid spisen men även till att insupa en god bok i någon av de sköna fåtöljerna eller varför inte få till en härlig brasa i kaminen under höst och vinter. Denna natur rik på djur och detta fina hus ska verkligen upplevas på plats. Välkomna!

With 3 lakes in the vicinity you are close to a swim and maybe a fishing trip. It is built with care and to create a lovely atmosphere and was completed in June 2025. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. A granary converted into a guest house with 6 beds. Shower, toilet, washing machine, dryer, fully-equipped kitchen, TV, DVD, (no Wi-Fi) are available. Discover all the farm's chickens, 2 cats, 1 dog and rabbits. Pick eggs and enjoy breakfast overlooking fields and forests. About 2 km from here, you will find Lake Maren where you can swim. It takes about 45 minutes to drive to Astrid Lindgren's World.
