Relax in a small port town. We have self-renovated an old house built about 70 years ago. Spread out and relax in our little home in the port town. There are steep stairs (with handrails) and steps as it is an older home.We would appreciate it if you could take care of small children and those with bad feet. Our house is furnished 'natsukashii' nostalgic style, in the 'inaka' Japanese countryside, conveniently located in the middle of the Shimanami Kaido island chain. 7-minute drive to Oyamazumi Shrine. 7-minute drive to Tatara Bridge (to Ikuchijima). 10-minute drive to Ōmishima Bridge (to Hakatajima). 7-minute walk to Idahachiman Shrine. 10-minute walk to the beach.

Near-by sightseeing spots: Mt.Kurotaki, Kaguya-hime museum, Preservation district of important historical buildings in Takehara city. Optional dinner is available at cafe area with extra charge. We are sorry but you will hear the noise from the cafe from 8am -11pm.

We have the second house in Ikuchi Island. You can stay there whenever we don't use it. Please check in between 3pm and 9pm. Please pick up this house key from the key case on the premises. There is no WIFI in this house. There are no restaurants or convenience stores nearby. There is a cafe nearby, but it closes at 5pm. There are no street lamps around the neighborhood. Please turn on the outdoor light when stepping out at night.
