Enjoy peace and quiet in a 40-square-meter micro-cottage. Ready-made beds and blackout rooms. The cottage can be cooled or heated. There are mosquito nets on the windows and an insect screen on the front door. In the outdoor sauna, there is a hot shower + firewood for heating the stove. You can cook your own meals in the kitchen nook. Clear instructions for everything. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 2 TVs. When you leave, just take your own belongings with you. NOTE: Wood heating and pets can cause symptoms for sensitive individuals. Stairs and an uneven yard can make it difficult to exercise!

Welcome to Villa Jaakkola! Villa Jaakkola is a log villa completed in 2022 in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski. The villa is spacious and airy. Downstairs there is one bedroom and a living room/kitchen. There is also plenty of space and sleeping places in the loft. A new lakeside sauna was built at the cottage in the summer of 2026. The cottage has all the modern conveniences, and the large windows offer a magnificent lake view in two directions. It's nice to watch the northern lights and listen to the silence in the warmth of the fireplace. Welcome!

Villa Kataja holiday home in Paljakka

Completed in 2014, our cottage is located in Paljakka, close to ski trails and mountain biking trails. The cottage's facilities are located on two floors. The glass railed terrace, which is the width of the entire cabin, gives you the opportunity to sense the peace of nature in both winter and summer. In the yard there is a wood storage, a campfire site and a hot tub. A lot to use from April to October, for a separate fee. Pets are prohibited. Distances: Tourist center in Ukkoha 26 km. Shops: Puolanka center 30 km and Ristijärvi 26 km.

Relax with a larger family in this quiet lakeside "cottage" with the comforts of a detached house. The house is located on a sunny plot. Beach sauna with wood-burning stove in use all year round, the house also has an electric sauna. The beach sauna dressing room has heating. In summer, if necessary, there is also an electrified outbuilding, with space for 4-5 people. In the area, for example, bear watching services and sale of fishing licenses. Linen is rented separately if necessary. Pets are welcome. Good internet connection.

Lapland is full, come to Kainuu! On a sunny, forested plot in Kajaani, an atmospheric 6-person cottage with a wonderful wood-heated beach sauna. The sun shines on the cottage beach late into the evening. The beach sauna is located right on the water and the cottage itself is a little higher up on the plot. Inside the cottage, running water, indoor toilet and shower bring a little luxury to your stay. The cottage is equipped with a covered large terrace with views through the forest to the back of the lake.

The Finnish nature is one of our most excellent resources, providing an abundance of beauty and fresh, clean air. This is a log cabin with a lakeside view located 21 km from Kuhmo town and 130 km from Kajaani Airport. It features a sauna cabin, two bedrooms, and a living room with a kitchen. There is also a BBQ area in the front yard. Local wildlife centers offer wildlife tours, which can be booked through the Wildtaiga site. Prices for bear hide tours can be found on the BearCentre website.

That’s intentional. You light the sauna, pump water from the lake, and cook on gas or an open fire at the laavu. Note: this stay requires basic outdoor skills. You must be comfortable making fires, bringing your own sheets and drinking water, and doing the final cleaning before checkout.
