The historic house shows the year 1773 painted on the walls. The house was originally located in the village's cluster and was bombed during World War II. When the farm's operating building was constructed, the remnants of the house were set up as a living room next to the barn and today it appears as an intimate and cozy little house with a lot of history and soul. All facilities are, of course, completely modern. The house in the middle of the valley, down towards the fjord and innermost in Høgsfjorden, provides an unforgettable holiday in this old living room.

Great family apartment on the ground floor with stunning view of Lysefjord. You can't get any closer to the fjord. The apartment has a double terrace door facing the fjord. You get a feeling of being "at sea" when you enter the apartment. Large bedroom with double bed, with the possibility of shutting down two extra beds if there are many of you who are going to share the apartment. The second bedroom has a family bunk with room for two downstairs and one person upstairs.

Benedikte's house on architect-designed Svindland farm

The Benedikte house is about 10 min drive from Egersund city center and about 5 min from E39. We have attempted to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one to stay in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the outskirts of the courtyard of the Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and idyll. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock that runs freely. The house is very modern and well-equipped.

Slapp av på idylliske Idse. Utsikten her er magisk. Å avslutte dagen på terassen med fyr i bålpannen og å sitte i jacuzzien med utsikt utover fjorden er virkelig herlig. The cottage is located a little by itself on the edge of a farm stun, beautifully situated on the slopes down towards the idyllic Riskedalsvatnet. From the dining table or terrace there is a view of the water. Built in the late 1980s, the cabin has been completely refurbished with modern colour options in 2020. You will find everything you need in this cabin.
