Features of the facility 🏠 It took us almost 3 years to renovate this 70-year-old traditional house. The theme of the renovation is "Learn from the past". We have lovingly updated the good old Japanese style. Please relax in nature just for today and refresh yourself to your heart's content. Origin of Kumo Lodge ☁ ️ On the way here, you may see a glimpse of a sea of clouds spreading over the lake. The scenery is so fantastic and mysterious - my heart trembled with excitement, and I named it "Kumo (Cloud) Lodge" to convey that emotion.

You can use the entire house, which is about 70 years old, quietly nestled in the mountains of Tono, Iwate Prefecture. 20-minute walk from the nearest bus stop. There are no shops or convenience stores around, and all you can hear is the wind, birds, and the nearby river. It is an inn that I would recommend to those who can enjoy the absence of anything. The upper reaches of the Kitakami River flow nearby, and depending on the season, you can fish for masu trout and char. It is also close to Iwate Prefectural Route 160, making it perfect for a break or overnight stay during a tour. Recommended for those who want to spend time in a quiet environment, enjoy fishing and walking in nature, and feel the luxury of "nothingness".

Halcoya Hanare, an inn to enjoy the trees

Shizukuishi Town in Iwate Prefecture is a tourist destination where you can enjoy Koiwai Farm, Lake Goshiki, ski resorts, and hot springs. 　Minpaku Halcoya is located near Lake Goshiki, overlooking Mt. Iwate. This facility was built using trees from the town to allow people to experience the warmth of living with wood.   　If you are interested in Shizukuishi life, want to relax in nature, enjoy time with family and friends in a different space than usual... please come and visit us. Halcoya Hanare is a separate building from Halcoya, and is an owner-less, entire home rental. This is a small, newly built house that can accommodate up to 3 people. * Please note that Halcoya Hanare does not currently have WiFi.

こちらの広々とした静かなお部屋で、天然温泉に浸かりながら日常の心配事を忘れましょう。 八幡平・盛岡エリアへの観光、登山やウィンタースポーツ、ゴルフ等のベース基地として グループでのパーティー、湯治にも最適です。 最寄りのスキー場(八幡平リゾートパノラマスキー場)まで車で約5分。安比高原スキー場は夏は20～30分、冬は30～40分(道のり約18km)でアクセス可能です。 ドラゴンアイは車を停める見返り峠まで約30分でアクセス可能です。 お車に関してですが雪深い地域の為、スキー/スノーボードなど冬期にご利用の際は4WD車でお越し頂く事を推奨致します。 二輪駆動・FF車は車種によりチェーンをご持参した方が良い場合もあるかと思いますのでご心配であれば事前にお問合せを頂ければと思います。 二輪駆動・FR車は推奨は出来ませんが必ずチェーンの持参をお願い致します。 駐車場内でのスタッグ等の際は、ご自身でJAF等へ連絡をお願いいたします。
