The cabin is situated on wheels tho you might not notice. Lots of natural wood, and a private deck for outdoor leisure. All are welcome, including well mannered pets. Experience healing and peace with the sound of gentle waves on Discovery Bay. Our cabin was built in 1939 by our grandfather who was an early businessman in Port Townsend. He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Explore the unbelievable beauty of the Olympic National Park just a few miles away featuring hiking to rainforests, glaciers, and mountain lakes.

The island is also home to Camano Island State Park, which boasts 173 acres prime for camping, hiking and bird watching.

The Coho Cabin - A Beachfront Getaway

Welcome to the Coho Cabin, a tiny house/log cabin perched atop Skagit Bay with direct westerly waterfront views of wildlife, Whidbey Island and the Olympic Mts. Built in 2007, it's an authentic log cabin, custom designed out of Alaskan Yellow Cedar. Enjoy the rustic-yet-elegant vibe, radiant heated floors, cozy loft bed, outdoor bbq and private location. Located 10 min. west of La Conner, guests can browse shops, adventure on unique hikes, or enjoy a relaxing beach stroll.

Our Little Cabin is a bright comfortable space with a 1/2 bath, including a sink and toilet. You will have access to a private full bath with roomy shower and laundry facilities accessible through our garage any time. There is a small refrigerator and microwave as well as Keurig coffee. There is a large window facing the garden with a view of the water through the trees. Longpoint Beach at the opening to Penn Cove is a 10 minute walk through our quiet neighborhood.

Quiet and private, with unobstructed views, the cabin is a true retreat!
