It is a 5-minute walk to the old cityscape of Hida Takayama, an entire house in a place known as the Sky Town area, which has been called by Takayama citizens since ancient times. Located between the Higashiyama Temple complex and the old cityscape, this is a quiet residential area within walking distance to shopping streets and restaurants. Osteria La Forchetta, an Italian restaurant just a 2-minute walk away, is our shop. Guests staying with us will receive a 20% discount for dinner here. The inn opened in the spring of 2025 has been renovated into a two-story house, making it a comfortable space for 2-4 people to relax. There is also an EV charger for one free parking lot next door, so guests can use it for free.

yado - ryokuen - overlooks the Miyagawa River and green park in front of you, and you can enjoy the scenery of the four seasons. In the morning, you can take a walk along the river to the morning market or take a stroll through the streets of Oshinmachi. The newly built building is cool in the summer and warm and comfortable in the winter.The second floor is a private space.There is free parking on the premises, so it is recommended for traveling by car. You can also use the private sauna on the 1st floor for free.(Reservation required)

Opened on October 1, 2016!(The second store, Makotoya Ohjin, opened in May 2024.) It is a traditional Japanese house in a very convenient location. It is about 3 minutes on foot from Takayama Station and about 5 minutes on foot from the old town. When you enter the house from the front entrance, you may feel as if you are in an old Japanese house. You can also enjoy the "horigotatsu" and "open-air bath". I hope you can make yourselves at home here.
