The Groom’s Cottage

Arranged in the traditional U-shape, the cottage forms part of a converted stable block within the grounds of a former equestrian estate near the historical town of Lewes. The cottage benefits from its own, South-facing patio which looks out onto a communal courtyard. The property has its own private entrance and two car parking spaces. The Hideaway Sussex - Cottage

The Cottage is a self-contained annexe within the grounds of our home but separate from the main house. It has its own entrance, small garden, patio area & parking for one car only. The cottage is a great place to stay while you explore the beautiful Sussex countryside and coast. The historic town of Lewes is within a 10-minute drive, Uckfield 10 minutes, & Brighton is 30 minutes away. Trains: From London-Uckfield/Lewes We also have 2 shepherd's huts which use the same driveway as the Cottage.

The local pub & village shop are just 10 minutes walk. Perfect for Glyndebourne, Charleston & Firle weddings or explore nearby towns of Lewes or Brighton.

There are local pubs including one within 3 mins walk serving good food, shops and even a Victorian cinema in walking distance and many other Sussex and Kent places of interest within a short drive.
