Right in front of the house begins the untouched nature; hiking trails and in winter opportunities for snowshoeing. The region offers many excursion destinations such as the Aareschlucht, the imposing area around the Rosenlaui and the open-air museum Ballenberg. The valley station of the Hasliberg cable cars is a 15-minute drive away.
