Within walking distance (about 600 m) is the river Le Gartempe, where there are plenty of places to take a refreshing dip. The cyclist can also indulge. For the mountain biker (possibly available), touring cyclist and recreational cyclist, there are countless possibilities through the woods, along the river or through the countryside. For the hikers among us, the possibilities are endless. For the horseback riders, there is a riding school a few kilometers away. 17th Century French Rural farmhouse set within an acre of land, nestled besides the Petite Creuse river in central France. The house has 2 large bedrooms, 1 bathroom/shower, 2 toilets, open plan lounge and kitchen plus a garden room that leads out to a large patio & separate firepit area. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, rivers, lakes and quaint villages. The house is in a sleepy hamlet at the end of a no through lane. A truly relaxing place to unwind. We have internet and phone connection.

La maison Carré - romantic house on river, 2p

The former ferry house has been completely restored and converted into a vacation home for 2 people, since July 2022. Beautiful setting next to the river, l'Anglin, overlooking the bridge, the château and the village Angles-sur-l'Anglin. The house has its own garden, and there is a private beach on the estate. The barque is ready on the river, wonderful swimming in front of the door or further on at the Moulin de Remerle or the Moulin du Pré.
