Cabot Trail Home with a Country Flare

The house is located on the famous Cabot Trail in Cape Breton. High speed fibre internet was recently installed. The house is minutes away from a popular coffee shop,The Clucking Hen, numerous hiking trails and a beautiful beach and fishing wharf. There you can purchase lobster and crab straight off the boats when in season. A number of craft shops are close-by along with a pizza shop. The house has a unique nautical décor. It is warm and welcoming with a large yard. Portable air conditioner.

The Trailhead Guest Cottage

Our peaceful oceanfront guest cottage is situated at the head of the 9.5 km Pollett's Cove hiking trail.  We recommend a two night stay - first night, settle in with a beverage, evening sunset and star gazing.  Wake to coffee and farm fresh breakfast delivered to your door step (except in August when we are on vacation), before hitting the trail to Pollett's Cove, the Skyline or any of the 30 other nearby national park trails. Have a swim, and return to a hot outdoor shower. Repeat!
