It is Just a few minutes from Global Wildlife Center, one of the largest totally free- roaming reserves of its kind in the country. On eight partially wooded acres, the home was built in the early 1970's on land that was part of a Spanish land grant to the Core family in the early 1800's. The lodge is on the property beside the main house facing an one acre horse paddock and overlooking a 3 acre pond, dock and gazebo. We are horse friendly. Attractions nearby include; Global Wildlife Center, an Alligator farm, the Bogue Chitto State Park, old town of Covington with antique shops, art galleries, and fine dining. We are only 45 miles from Downtown New Orleans. l
