The main flr has hdwd flrs, full kitchen, din. rm, Sm brkfst nook or work space, 2BR, w/ QBs & TVs, & 1BA. The upper lvl has 1BR w/ 1BA, W&D on lower lvl, w/ open area for storage, etc. Lg quiet bkyd w/ fire pit. Can accommodate Lg family or Sm group, air matresses available if needed. Great for short or long stays.

Riverwood Hideaway

This off-grid, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. The cabin itself is loaded with comfort. A full kitchen, propane refrigerator, solar powered lights and a gas fireplace/furnace offer the conveniences of home. There is an outhouse and firewood for the outdoor firepit. You will have to bring your own water for drinking, but we provide hand and dish washing water at the sink. We have coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices.

Relax in a wilderness setting on a little Pequaywan Lake. Enjoy an outdoor patio fire pit and a grill area, overlooking the lake. A sauna also available . Inside you will find a FULLY equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower. All linens included. No pets allowed. This is a private lake so no boat access available. One canoe and one kayak with life jackets provided. Take the path to the water where there is a dock, (this is a little steep). Located 35 minutes to Duluth AND Two Harbors.

During your stay, hike through the property, catch glimpses of wildlife, sip coffee by the fire while taking in the sunrise over the lake, or step out to nearby Gooseberry, Black Beach, or Tettegouche. A beautifully private north woods retreat any time of year!

This cabin was built for family gatherings and a recreational retreat and has been in the family for years. We offer a place to sleep 4 with a pull-out couch, full kitchen, bar area, dining table and a small bathroom with a shower and sink. We also have an outside hydrant to rinse off your equipment or clean your fish and game. Be on the lookout for Moose, Deer, Bear, Fox, Grouse, and many of birds and listen for an occasional Timber Wolf in the night. Trailer parking is onsite.

A unique, octagon, cedar log cabin, situated on 40 secluded wooded acres. A short hike over the Sucker River on a storybook foot bridge to a generous deck which surrounds the cabin. You will need to be physically fit to stay here. You must climb a steep ladder to the loft and do a 2ft step to get off the deck to the marshy land below for making a fire. Also bring a sense of adventure! Wildlife is very near. We do not allow animals or smoking of any kind, sorry.
