Nice view over Sognefjord with steep mountains from all edges. The house has nice outdoor area with plenty of space. 10 minutes to the nearest convenience store. 24 hour store, also weekend and raude days: 07:00-23:00. Arnafjord is a small village located 2.7 miles from Vik in Sogn. Here are a lot of good hiking guys. There are also nice swimming spots in the summer.

The old house at Solnes Gard

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents got the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from about 1950. We live in the other part of the residence ourselves. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join the care on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life when we are in full work and have four small children.

Please note, this place is in the mountains 620meter above sea level, you must be dressed for the Norwegian mountain, car must be able to drive the gravel road to cabin. Cabin in beautiful Måren overlooking the Sognefjord

My cabin can be found in Høyanger municipality, in the small village of Måren. To get to Måren you have to take a ferry (MS Lysefjord) from Nordeide, Ortnevik or Vik. There are no shops or kiosks in Måren, so you need to plan well with regard to food and other things you would need during your stay. In other words, you have to shop everything you need before traveling over with the ferry. The cabin is fully equipped and has everything you need for a nice stay.

This holiday home is situated by Norway's largest fjord, Sognefjorden, in a beautiful secluded spot. If you want a real peaceful and quiet break, this place is perfect. There is no noise apart from the hypnotic rumble of the waterfalls coming down the spectacular mountains. The sea is 50 meters away, and for 1000 kr extra, you can rent a 14 foot rowing boat for fishing your own mouthwatering supper or just cruising around looking at the scenery.

The old timber walls provide a special tranquility and atmosphere, and the house is decorated with nice, handmade details. Two terraces with garden furniture and barbecue, parking in the courtyard. Boat can be rented from the host 500m away. Good walking opportunities in the area.
