Flotte turstier, samt stort løypenett om vinteren.

Mountain cabin next to Rondane National Park

Simple and charming mountain cabin located at the tree line, 1000 meters above sea level. It is only one kilometer from the national park, and it is five kilometers to walk to the Peer Gynt cabin. The cabin has neither running water nor electricity, but it has solar power, which is generally sufficient for charging phones and using lamps. Water is fetched from the stream behind the cabin. There is an outdoor toilet in the outbuilding next to the cabin. The cabin is heated with firewood.

Høvringen has a shop with an inn located about 700 m from the cabin. There is a daily bus service to Otta. The mountain area has established a network of trails in summer and winter, with access to Rondane National Park. Located in the middle of the mountains, with a short distance to great hiking trails, cross-country trails and beautiful nature all year round. It is fully equipped with running water and electricity, and offers the perfect combination of comfort and mountain tranquility. Quiet area, not for parties. Minimum age: 25 years.
