The sleeping room in Wierum is a beautiful and cozy apartment with private sauna (for an additional fee), located in a former primary school 100 m from the Wadden Sea. It is located in the middle of the Unesco World Heritage Site, where you can intensively enjoy the peace and beauty of the Wadden area. The apartment is surprisingly spacious (70m2) and can sleep up to 5 people. Children can enjoy themselves on the trampoline, on the grass/soccer field and can also cuddle with our rabbits and guinea pigs.

Characteristic is the ‘smûke’ scenery with thousands of miles of elzensingels, dykswâlen (wood ramparts) and hundreds of pingos and pools. The area has unique flora and fauna. The biodiversity here is great. A short distance from Groningen, Leeuwarden, Dokkum and the Ydillian Wadden Islands. The surroundings are very suitable for hiking, biking, canoe.

Our beautiful house is available for friends and families who love the island feeling. It has a large garden, with lots of space for playing football or badminton. There is a sauna, an extra living room in the basement with a large TV (great for the kids). In autumn and winter times you can enjoy the fireplace in the cozy living room. Books and games are available, and the fully equipped kitchen is ready for your cooking adventures. Please note: during holidays the minimum stay is a week.
