The cabin is in a fantastic location in the middle of Lofoten. It's 15 minutes from Leknes. Quick access to the airport, shopping centre, groceries, restaurants, petrol station and charging station. The cabin is 15 minutes from Stamsund if you come by Hurtigruta. Henningsvær and Svolvær are less than an hour's drive away. Approx. 25 minutes to the Lofoten Links golf course. At the cabin, you'll find fantastic hiking trails and popular mountain hikes. Direct access to spectacular nature. The view from the cabin is outstanding, with mountains and sea on all sides.

The cottage is characterized by exclusive material choices, and the large windows frame a fantastic view. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, electric stove and induction cooktop. The cabin is built for year-round use and has in-floor heating and a wood-burning stove. With one bedroom with a double bed and a loft with two beds of 120 cm, the cabin is well suited for four people, however, we do not recommend small children in the loft. Large terrace overlooking the midnight sun, northern lights, sea and mountains. There is free parking right outside.

The popular Haukland beach is located about 15 minutes from the cabin. Plays town, airport and motorway a short distance from the cabin. If you want to try your luck in the fishing village Vestfjorden, rent a boat is possible. In the months Jan-April the famous Lofot fishing is ongoing, and you can experience this fishing at Ballstad, which is one of Lofoten's largest and most abundant fishing village.

The cottage has 2 bedrooms, bathroom with shower, living room and kitchen. There is also a terrace with outdoor furniture and very good lake views. The host lives in the house next door. Canoe can be freely used provided that life jackets are used and sea knowledge is present. At your own risk. Hot tub is wood-fired and must be agreed upon for firing. Additional price per time will be added. The sauna is wood-fired and can be used freely. Heating is done by guests. Perfect for seeing the Northern Lights since there is little light pollution.

Steigen Lodge Sjøhytte Våg no. 1

We want everyone to experience nature as closely as possible. Therefore, we have built three small cabins/houses, with large glass surfaces everywhere, so that you can sit inside and enjoy the mountains, the horizon, the sea, the sunsets and the midnight sun. Now it's not always sunny on the island, so we have a nice sofa, which can be daybed too, for moments when you want to sit inside under the blanket, look at the rain and the wind, but still get a great experience of the changing nature.
