Hiking trails nearby and the White Mountains are only 30 minutes north. 30 minutes to Ragged Mountain and Tenney Mountain and 35 to Gunstock for winter skiing. Welcome! Birch Bear Cabin is on the banks of the Baker River and nestled in the White Mountains. Enjoy a romantic retreat, a Girl’s weekend, Fly-fishing with the guys, or Rumney Rocks! How we got our name.... On our property are two stands of white birch trees. And...if you look closely you will find the claw mark on the kitchen cabinet left by a bear looking for a snack. That is how we came to be Birch Bear Cabin!

Hebron Historic Farmhouse

The farmhouse was built between 1795 and 1800 by the ancestors of the owner. We renovated it in 2017 and added 600 square feet to the original structure. The space combines the charm of the old with the convenience of the new. We know you will love this relaxing, quiet country setting with views over a lovely meadow to the south, and Mount Crosby to the north.
