Carr Cottage is a characterful 19th century mill workers' dwelling situated in the heart of the Pennines in the beautiful Luddenden Valley with a multitude of walks and footpaths. Close to Halifax and its historic Piece Hall or Hebden Bridge with its vibrant arts and crafts scene. We are dog friendly with excellent walks for dogs and their people. Dogs must not be left unattended on the during your stay. Carr Cottage is cycle friendly with classic road or off road routes right rom the doorstep.

Beautiful 17th century cottage, in the heart of the Pennines. Situated in Todmorden, West Yorkshire our beautifully restored cottage built in approximately 1665 and overlooking the vibrant market town of Todmorden and only 5km away from the artisan and beautiful town of Hebden Bridge. It provides an ideal base to explore this beautiful part of Yorkshire including; Howarth, the home of the Brontes, Halifax, including the Piece Hall and Shibden Hall, the home of Anne Lister and the Pennine Way.

Old Piggery beautiful views. Dog friendly garden.

We converted the Old Piggery over 20 years ago, and have recently done a full refurbishment. It now has a cosy snug with a sofa as well as a lounge with far-reaching views. There is an ensuite bathroom and downstairs, a shower and toilet. The bedroom is on a mezzanine floor with a king-sized, chunky farmhouse bed with an extremely comfortable mattress. The lounge area has a Laura Ashley sofa and snuggle chair positioned to take in a far-reaching views or a 43 inch TV if you prefer!
