The Landzicht is a great starting point to explore the area. Located near nature reserves, Drachten and the A7.

In 2024, this estate was transferred from a centuries-old family tradition to the Drenths landscape. Partly to preserve the estate, it was decided to partially convert it into an attractive B&B. Veenhuizen (with the colonies of Weldadigheid), Norg and Bakkeveen are accessible by bicycle.

The four free bicycles are ready for exploring the area: from the Fochteloërveen to the Drents-Friese Wold or the UNESCO heritage site Veenhuizen. Welcome to our unique tiny house, hidden in a private forest on the outskirts of the charming Frisian village of Noordwolde. This modern accommodation is ideal for peace seekers and nature lovers. In the summer, enjoy your spacious private garden with seating area, a veranda and a hammock among the trees. The studio is located under a roof with our home. Located on the main road overlooking the Bakkeveenster canal. The entrance is at the front and the space is on the ground floor with a double box spring, a seat, the kitchen with refrigerator, bathroom with sink, shower and toilet. In the kitchen there is a Senseo, a coffee maker, plates, cutlery, etc. and a kettle. Also ideal as a (home) workplace.
