Log cabin w/ kennel tours; close to hiking trails!

This rustic cabin is located on Chena Hot Springs road, halfway between the airport and Chena Hot Springs Resort. It has 1 set of queen sized bunk beds, 1 couch, and a full sized bunk above the couch. The cabin is dry, meaning there is NO RUNNING WATER (the authentic Alaskan experience). Outhouse is less than 50 feet from cabin. Coin showers, laundromat, post office and general store are 2 miles down the road. This summer we are offering tours of our dog mushing kennel. A short drive up the road to Chena Hot Springs or to North Pole to Santa Claus House and more. Watch the Yukon Quest 1000 Mile Dog Sled race pass right right in front of Outpost. This house is a great place for family gatherings with a full kitchen stocked with basics and if you need a special kitchen appliance, dish or baking wear just call and I’ll deliver. Animals are allowed with disclosing upon booking. We have reindeer and dog mushing tours next door so all dogs must be on a leash.
