It is a new building with the latest facilities and two bedrooms (for up to 5 people). It is fully equipped with a kitchen where you can cook your own meals, a work desk, and a washing machine with a dryer (coin-operated laundry), and is comfortable for everything from family and group trips to workations and long-term stays after climbing or trekking on Mt. Dragon Eye can be accessed in about 30 minutes to the pass in return where you can park your car. Regarding cars, we recommend that you come by 4WD car when using it in winter for skiing/snowboarding, etc. because it is a snowy area. For two-wheel drive and FF vehicles, it may be better to bring a chain depending on the model, so if you are worried, please contact us in advance. We accept reservations for one group per day. The maximum number of people who can stay here is 10 people. It is often used as a base for Tohoku trips by classmates, company colleagues, and multiple families. Please relax in the spacious space. Of course, even one person can stay privately. Please let us know by message at the time of booking, as children under 12 years old will be charged a reduced rate of 3,300 yen (tax included) per person per day. We will change the amount after the discount. In addition, as a discount for consecutive nights, guests who stay 3 nights or more at the adult rate will receive a discount of 500 yen per person per day from the 3rd night. The strolling garden across the street, just a 1-minute walk away, is said to have been called the “Oyakuen” because it was used to grow medicinal herbs for Morioka Castle. Located right in front of it, this house displays a sign that reads “Oyakuenmae,” and began offering private lodging in April 2026. Taking advantage of the 50-year-old building, we have renovated it into a space that honors the past while creating something new. Based on the concept of providing a home away from home where you can enjoy Iwate as if you lived here and want to come back again and again, we will do our utmost to make your stay a truly heartwarming experience.
