In a Falu-red timber cabin on a farm, you will have the opportunity to experience the best Dalarna has to offer. In the heart of Siljansnäs, you will find this small farmhouse with rooming three people. The cottage was renovated in 2023, the bathroom in 2018. Within walking distance, there is a kiosk and grocery store, and a little further up in the village, there is a café, hotel and mini golf. 200 meters from the front door is Byrviken, an excellent swimming area. Within 20 minutes' drive, there is also Tegera Arena, Granberget ski slope and cross-country skiing.

Stay in the guest house on our farm outside Leksand

Come and stay in the guest house on our farm. A 50-square-meter cottage with an open floor plan and patio in a beautiful location. The farm is located in the village of Hälla, 5 km outside of Leksand. There is a bed of 140 cm and a sofa bed of 140 cm. Kitchen with coffee maker, fridge and freezer. Bathroom with shower and small washing machine. Fireplace. Here you live in the countryside and around the farm there are live farms with cows. You are within walking distance to the swimming area at Dalälven and the Dalkarlsvägen hiking trail.

Large selection of sights and tourist attractions in the area. 7-minute drive to the station and 3-minute walk to the bus.

Close to slalom slope, (Säfsen resort) cross country tracks, snowmobile trails, forests and lakes, hiking, mtb, fishing etc. About 200 meters to grocery store, pizzeria/pub, bakery and gas station. Fully equipped kitchen, Wifi, TV with great choice, outdoor barbecue area. Possibility to rent bed linen and terry 150 SEK/person and stay. We do not accept pets. Room with kitchenette, 25 square meters. Bathroom with shower. A double bed (120 cm wide) and sofa bed for 2 people. The accommodation is maximized for 2 adults, but there is also room for 2 small children. Kitchenette equipped with stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee maker. TV and Wi-Fi. Towels and bed linen are included. You will also have access to the laundry room located in the main building. We charge a cleaning fee of SEK 200 for bed linen, etc. However, we expect you to do a fine cleaning before you check out.

FredrikLars farm by Nordmarksbergs Herrgård

FredrikLars-gården next to Nordmarksberg Manor: 19th century or older. In this farm the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – d. 1790) is said to have lived. On a stone in the foundation of the courtyard should be a carving with Nils name. Picture of this stone can be found in the Värmland archive's foot archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present. It's probably hidden by mortar covered over the rocks.

The little red house is about 90m away from of the Spannsjö, on which's shores my farm is the only real estate.Your little red house has everything you need, no matter the season: sleeping room with 4beds, living room, bathroom, fully functional kitchen and your own washing machine.Wifi is in the house.

The cottage is located on our own property (5,000 sqm) in the nice village of Sunnanäng, Leksand. The bed is made and clean towels are provided when you arrive, it's easy to feel at home here! The village is located along Siljan, by car it takes 4 minutes to Leksand Sommarland, 8 minutes to central Leksand and equally close to Tällberg.
