A three bedroom cabin great for a couple or family. The Appalachian Trail and National Forest can be accessed just 100 feet from the front door! The well-stocked kitchenette provides for all basic food preparation needs, and the town of Hot Springs is only a two minute drive away. Hurricane Helene update: We are fortunate that our property is higher up and did not flood. Thanks to the hard work of many people, all utilities have been restored at the cabin. Our town is in recovery.

Note- Douglas Lake is operated by TVA and water levels will be lower from October to April so the boat launch and docks will not be accessible by boat.

"Hanging in There" is a custom built log cabin. It has one bedroom, one bath, living room, kitchen, laundry room and back screen porch. The kitchen has custom hickory cabinets and is well stocked with everything you will need. The floors are hardwood (Maple) and ceramic tile. It Is decorated with black bears and other wildlife decor. It has a gas fireplace. You can take a morning walk in private or just relax.
