THE CABIN - is a newly built cabin (2024), located in a small cabin area on Oppheimsåsen with quiet surroundings. This is a cabin that is excellent for the extended family, or several families. The cabin has a high and modern standard. There are ski slopes right outside, bike path, fishing water, as well as several mountain hikes nearby. Unique and comfortable accommodation with a delightful view

Our newly built "sleeping box" is teikna and built by the inexpensive architects in OPAFORM, Espen Folgerø and Marina Bauer, and stands on the 2nd floor in a empty grain barn from 1850 with airy views of Strandavatnet. The box has a 1.80 double bed, but it can put in an extra mattress or cot if needed. In the barn that is in the building next to it, a kitchen, bathroom and toilet have been built. We offer a large double bed (king size). In addition, we can provide an extra bed and/or baby cot if needed.

Behind the house (20 metres) you'll find the river Hallingdalselva, where you can fish for trouts. You may borrow a canoe or a small rowing boat. Koselig kårstue på gård. Our cabin was renovated and rebuilt in the fall of 2022 and we could warmly welcome you and your travel companions! The cabin contains three bedrooms with double beds in addition to the loft/loft with double sofa bed. Large bathroom with washer/dryer and well equipped Kitchen. In the loft there is a TV that is connected to broadband, so you can stream what you want to see. Large porch with outdoor furniture and fire pit. Possibility to charge EV.

Located at 930 meters above sea level, ski conditions are secured in the winter time, but also plenty of activity and swimming opportunities in the summer. Well set up for families with kids of all ages. The winter break until the cabin, and ski in ski out (cross country skiing).
