Bathing area can also be found close to the cabin. Car road all the way to the cabin during summer time. In winter time it is about 3 km from parking to the cabin. Stylish and cozy funkish cottage built in 2019. The cabin is located right by Hallingdalselva, only 2 km from Ål city center. High and low climbing park is only 300m away, and about 500m away is Strandafjorden swimming area! Ål ski center is 8 km and to Geilo only 23 km. Hemsedal ski center is 56 km from the cabin. Hardangervidda about 35 km. On the mountains around you can choose and wreck in amazing ski slopes in winter and walking paths in summer! The activity opportunities are just as good both winter and summer!

Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge/freezer and espresso pot for good coffee! High chair, cot (travel cot) and a stroller can be used while you are there. Nature plot and terrace. Unique and comfortable accommodation with a delightful view

Our newly built "sleeping box" is teikna and built by the inexpensive architects in OPAFORM, Espen Folgerø and Marina Bauer, and stands on the 2nd floor in a empty grain barn from 1850 with airy views of Strandavatnet. The box has a 1.80 double bed, but it can put in an extra mattress or cot if needed. In the barn that is in the building next to it, a kitchen, bathroom and toilet have been built. We offer a large double bed (king size). In addition, we can provide an extra bed and/or baby cot if needed.

Cabin in the mountain village of Vats, Ål in Hallingdal

Cabin at 800 meters above sea level in the mountain village of Vats, Ål municipality. Great views over the village and mountains. Hiking and fishing terrain easily accessible; a large network of ski slopes, bicycle and hiking trails. It is just 6 km up to the high mountains in Skarvheimen where you can see Reineskarvet and Hallingskarvet. The cabin is located on its own and there is a road all the way to it. If you enjoy quiet and scenic surroundings, it is worth taking the trip here.

Our cabin was renovated and rebuilt in the fall of 2022 and we could warmly welcome you and your travel companions! The cabin contains three bedrooms with double beds in addition to the loft/loft with double sofa bed. Large bathroom with washer/dryer and well equipped Kitchen. In the loft there is a TV that is connected to broadband, so you can stream what you want to see. Large porch with outdoor furniture and fire pit. Possibility to charge EV.

The cabin has beds made, self check-in and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Cross-country trails, hiking trails, cycling opportunities and alpine facilities are all nearby. Dogs are welcome for a cleaning supplement (NOK 500).
