There is a rural landscape around the property, so you can enjoy the countryside, and Kumagaya City is also a place with good access to Saitama's tourist attractions, towns that also pass by the Shinkansen, and sightseeing. BBQ (bring ingredients) In case of rain, you can enjoy under the gate, open-air bath, barrel sauna (equipped with water bath), karaoke, theater room (game corner), listening to music, etc. The open-air bath allows you to bathe while looking out at the garden. (We buy bathing detergent with hot spring ingredients) I want you to feel tired while relaxing and physically relaxing, giving you a healing bath, and having fun with your friends. The sauna is also equipped with a water bath, so you can relax with the open-air bath.

It is a Japanese house surrounded by lush greenery. The space available for rent is 120 ㎡ (about 70 tatami mats). 7 minutes by car from the Kan-etsu Expressway, Hanazono Interchange. Free parking for 4 cars is available. It is a 9-minute walk from Hachioji Station on the Tobu Tojo Line. Since it is a private rental, we can only allow 1-2 people to stay for up to 7 consecutive nights. Long-term stays are possible for 3 or more people. Please use it for sightseeing such as Nagatoro, Chichibu, and Ikuno, or for work. You will have the entire first floor of a rural house to yourselves.

Richard Flavin's "Washi House", Saitama Pref.

Welcome to Richard Flavin's Washi House! Richard Flavin (1943–2020) was a Japanese paper artist originally from the US. He studied design in Boston and came to Japan in 1970. He later studied woodblock printing and developed a deep interest in the production of washi. He also cultivated the raw material for washi paper, paper mulberry. We invite those interested in washi paper and art to stay overnight and enjoy this space, reminiscent of a washi paper museum, including these unfinished areas.
