Welcome to Villa Victoria – a classic red Swedish house full of charm and history. Built in 1909 as the old vicarage of Mariannelund, it now offers peace, comfort, and the authentic spirit of Småland. The villa sits at the edge of the forest on a quiet cul-de-sac, surrounded by a 1200 m² garden and a spacious covered veranda – perfect for long, light summer evenings. Only 400 m to the bathing spot, 2 km to the film studios, 9 km to Katthult Farm, and 12 km to Astrid Lindgren’s World. Inside, tradition meets modern comfort: a bright, fully equipped kitchen, inviting living areas, and lovingly furnished bedrooms make you feel at home right away. Washer, dryer, dishwasher, fine white damask bed linen and organic-quality towels are all included. Wi-Fi, TV, and a sound system are available throughout the property. Villa Victoria is a place to breathe, dream, and unwind – in every season. We’re here to make sure you feel completely welcome from the very first moment.

Uddebo Cottage, with private beach and garden

Uddebo is located right on Lake Ros and just 10 km north of the beautiful 'wooden town' of Eksjö. The house stands on a headland out on the lake and enjoys a unique lakeside location, with views of the lake from every part of the house. From the living room and the bedroom, you can access a wooden deck with steps down to the garden and the jetty. It's in a scenic and secluded location, with houses nearby but not right next door. The proximity to national road 32 makes it easy to get here. Traffic from the road can be heard, but for the vast majority of people, it is not perceived as a nuisance.

Stay between lake & forest, with chickens & horses outside!

There is nothing here and yet everything; like camping indoors! The small log cabin, without electricity or running water, is nestled in greenery, where you sleep in a comfortable, single bed and look out over horse pastures, the lake and the forest. Barbecue and bed linen are included. 250 meters away there are public toilets and a small swimming lake where there is free parking. If you have ordered breakfast, it is served with goodies from the farm. Want to meditate, ride or hang out with the animals? Hiking in the woods? Enjoying the silence? Anything is possible!

Vacation stay in the countryside, Vimmerby municipality

Free year-round accommodation out in the countryside with the forest next door. 500 m to the nearest neighbor and host. Close to lake, swimming and fishing. Possibility to borrow a boat. 25-30 minutes by car to Vimmerby, Astrid Lindgren's World and Bullerbyn. 35 minutes to Eksjö wooden town, about 12 km to Mariannelund. (nearest grocery store) Emils Katthult about 6 km. Among other things, two national parks, (Kvill and Skurugata), nearby with nice walking paths. Flea markets. Lovely nature outside the house for forest excursions or swimming and fishing.

Warmly welcome to the Little House in Kvill! Here you live close to nature in the middle of the Småland cultural landscape - surrounded by oak pastures, meadows and buildings from the nineteenth century. The house is located about 20 minutes' drive from Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's World, and close to both Katthult and Bullerbyn. Below the hill, you will find a nice little swimming lake, and a short walk from the house stands the 1000-year-old Kvilleken. A few kilometers away is the magical Norra Kvill National Park, with great hiking opportunities.

Cozy cottage on the lake property with a private jetty and a boat

The house is located in a fantastic quiet and beautiful environment by the lake outside Nye where you have access to your own jetty and boat. Enjoy a boat trip and the view of the lake from the large terrace. Just a few minutes away, there's a swimming area, a café and a kiosk. The summer offers swimming, fishing or boating excursions it is winter you can enjoy the tranquility of (or on) the ice. We are located in Småland's garden where the countryside has largely retained its character that you recognize from Astrid Lindgern's stories.

Cottage near Katthult

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Here it is quiet and peaceful and you can enjoy fresh air, with nature close by. Within walking distance, you can reach Kalmar County's highest point with fantastic views. You live in a village cottage from the past, which has been completely in 2022. The accommodation is ideal for overnight stays, for two adults. Upstairs, the single beds are 90 x 200 cm. Extra sleeping space can be had on the sofa bed. The cottage is about 10 minutes' drive from Katthult. Electric car can be charged

House in Pelarne

Stay in our charming little retro pearl of 78 sqm with large garden just next to Pelarne church. 5 minutes to Bullerbyn. 10 minutes (1 km) to Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgrens Värld. The house has two bedrooms, a common room, a dining room, a kitchen and a new bathroom with a toilet, a shower and a washing machine. Two double beds (one large, and one 140 cm wide) and a single bed (pull-out sofa in the dining room, for children or shorter adult.). Guests clean themselves after their stay. Please bring your own towels and bedsheets.

Drängstugan - Tiny House

Very rural and beautifully located "sommarstuga" with its own area on our farm, about 22 minutes from Katthult. Surrounded by forest and meadows, you can relax wonderfully here! The cottage is equipped with a well-equipped kitchenette, outdoor shower with hot water and a dry toilet directly adjacent to the cottage. Comfortable 160 cm bed, TV, Wi-Fi and dining table inside and outside. Towels & bed linens are included. There are horses, chickens and a dog on the farm.

Stay in the countryside in Astrid Lindgren's Vimmerby. The Skuru farm is close to Katth Katthult and here you rent your own house on the farm. 25-minute drive to Astrid Lindgren's World Perfect for guests looking for a peaceful and pleasant holiday in the countryside. In 2020, we renovated the kitchen, entrance hall and laundry room and also built a brand new bathroom on the ground floor. There is proximity to the lake with boat and swimming. Warm welcome!
