We are a cozy, renovated 1950's home featuring a private 1 bed/1 bath guest suite. Nestled in the Montavilla neighborhood, we are close to local coffee shops, restaurants, and more. Our home is packed with both practical and unique amenities for a perfect stay, including ample street parking. Whether visiting for a weekend trip or booking an extended stay, we are the perfect choice for your needs! Please note: home next door under construction and there is another Airbnb next door (shared wall).

Sandy River Sanctuary and Sauna

Treat yourself to the lower suite of our Sandy River home located just 2 miles from downtown Troutdale, OR. Our suite includes a sauna and an indoor soaking tub (not jetted.) We live above the suite and we have a toddler who is in daycare during the work hours and typically sleeps from 7pm to 7 am. There is a locked, sound absorbing accordian door. Yet, you may still be able to hear us from time to time. We are located on a scenic hwy minutes away from Edgefield and the Columbia River Gorge.

Our Private Suite is located in an idyllic setting central to all the activities, great food and nature that the greater Portland area is known for, but without the "junk" that comes with being in the city. Short drives to Portland, Mt Hood hiking and skiing, the Columbia River, Multnomah Falls and great entertainment at McMenamin's "Edgefield (15 Min)" and "Grand Lodge" (35 min.). Infants 0-2 welcome.

Its bright, contemporary, you'll find everything you need and it's close to anywhere you'd like to go in Portland, only 10 min to downtown and airport. Completely private and self contained in a quiet ne Portland neighborhood that's close to everything Portland has to offer! A great place to stay if you are sightseeing in Portland or just for overflow of visiting family.
