Loft cottage centrally located on the villa plot in Fredriksberg/Säfsen with private parking. Close to slalom slope, (Säfsen resort) cross country tracks, snowmobile trails, forests and lakes, hiking, mtb, fishing etc. About 200 meters to grocery store, pizzeria/pub, bakery and gas station. Fully equipped kitchen, Wifi, TV with great choice, outdoor barbecue area. Possibility to rent bed linen and terry 150 SEK/person and stay. We do not accept pets. FredrikLars farm by Nordmarksbergs Herrgård

FredrikLars-gården next to Nordmarksberg Manor: 19th century or older. In this farm the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – d. 1790) is said to have lived. On a stone in the foundation of the courtyard should be a carving with Nils name. Picture of this stone can be found in the Värmland archive's foot archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present. It's probably hidden by mortar covered over the rocks.

The jacuzzi and sauna is available year-round. The swimming pool is open until 6th of October, perfect for cooling off during warmer months. We also provide two paddleboards. Welcome to our cozy log cabin — a serene place to relax and adventure! There are 6 beds divided into 2 bedrooms as well as a small loft with 2 beds. There is a small cabin during summer time with 2 beds that can be rented for a fee of SEK 350/day. Cleaning for a fee. Bed linen/towels for a fee. The cottage has a large porch with stunning lake view. Walking distance to swimming area with sandy beach. Discover museum, cafés, go-karts, Spa, fishing trips, ski downhill/ length.

Here you live in a cozy log house from 1909 with modern amenities. Walking distance to Ludvika's range of shops and restaurants. In winter, there are good opportunities for skiing, both in the tracks and downhill. Romme alpine is 30 min away. Summer time there is possibility for fishing in Övre Hillen. Fish from the jetty or rent our plastic boat with electric motor (SEK 150/half day 8-12, 12-16). Fishing license 50kr/ day.
