In 2004 I got the chance to design my own family's week-end house in the village Pigniu. This fabulous place at 1300 meters above sea in the Surselva Region of Graubünden province, above the Town Ilanz, was well-known to me, for my parents owned an old farmhouse until the 1980ies here. The Spiral shaped chalet has the form of a band, changing from concrete in the base to wooden shingles upwards. The house is designed to connect us to the landscape we love. You will heat with chopped wood.

Das hauseigene Fitness steht zur Mitnutzung zur Verfügung. Im Winter ist man mit dem Auto in 10 Minuten an der Talstation des Skigebiets, im Sommer in 10 Minuten am See.

Amden is also known as the sun terrace. It is not only the perfect destination for hikers, but also for bikers, adventurers and those thirsty for knowledge. Even in winter, you have the opportunity to ski/snowboard. Top attractions include the Seerenbach Falls, Mattstock or Lake Walen. Where you can swim or take a small boat trip or go out by boat and relax.

The vacation home on Lake Wägitaler stands alone on a hill opposite the village of Innerthal with magnificent views of the lake and the Wägitaler mountains - Bockmattli, Schiberg, Zindelspitz and up to Muttristock all in one view. The house has been rented since August 2023.
